James V. Elias Takes Over Executive Directorship of AATDA

In December 2005, Tom England resigned from his position as Executive Director of AATDA.  In his resignation letter, he stated that this was “regrettably a necessary decision” due to recent business and personal commitments.  Mr. England has held this position since the foundation of AATDA in June 1991.  He will continue to actively serve on the Board of Directors and help the Association implementing its projects and working closely with our partner, the Albanian American Trade and Development Association in Albania (AATDA AL).  The Albanian American Trade and Development Associations in the US and Albania and their Board of Directors would like to thank and recognize Mr. England for all his dedicated service.

Mr. England will be replaced by Mr. James (Lou) Elias, who also serves as President of AATDA.  Mr. Elias is one of the original founders of the AATDA.  He will use the resources of his office in Dunkirk, New York, to field any calls or business transactions necessary for the Association.  A new e-mail address, aatda1991@yahoo.com, has been established for AATDA.  Mr. Elias can also be reached at his personal e-mail address jvelias@yahoo.com.  His telephone numbers are 1-800-295-5161 or Cell: 954-802-3166.  Updates of address changes can be found elsewhere on this site.
