Albania and Macedonia Sign Free Trade Agreement

A working group has been established to determine details for the implementation to how best implement the free trade agreement between Albania and Macedonia that enters into force on August 1. The Ministers of Economy of both countries signed the agreement last March, in which the gradual mutual reduction of customs tariffs was stipulated. Albanian producers can export to Macedonia such products as dairy, vegetables, fruits, beverage, meat by-products, etc. A drop in customs tariffs is foreseen for the same products to be imported from Macedonia.
