ROAD NETWORK MAINTENANCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT PROJECT

The International Development Agency (IDA) has extended a US $25 million credit for a road maintenance project in the Republic of Albania. Project calls for maintenance work to be done on 300 km of the main national road system and 600 km of the rural network including bridges. Project preparation is already in progress at the ministry and will require an environmental assessment along with consulting services that remain to be identified.
